Hey True Crime Fans! Welcome to Composition of a Killer!
We live in a world that is both wonderful and scary. There are monsters among us, and we are enamored with the horrible outcomes of their crimes. As an early childhood development professor and true crime follower, I am convinced that we can identify “markers” in early childhood that may help educators identify students/children who are on a path of destruction.
If you follow true crime, are an educator, or maybe just someone who is interested in trauma and how it affects development in young children, this podcast is for you! I, along with my best friend, Darlene Lee, will dive into an array of true crime stories and research the early childhood experiences that could have caused these people to become infamous. We will discuss the McDonald Triad, ACEs, and other mainstream checklists that are already in place to help us look for risk factors, and we will identify the commonalities between each of these horrific acts.
